about our course. TSE 2013

This course will discuss the interrelationship between living things and the environment. It emphasizes several important aspects such as matter, energy and life, population, community and species interaction as well as the preservation and conservation of natural resources. It will also focus on environmental pollution, which include air pollution, water pollution, solid waste, toxic and hazardous waste, use of pesticides and noise pollution. Environmental issues such as global climate change, thinning ozone layer and human population explosion are also discussed. The students will also be introduced to the presence or emergent diseases and its relation to environmental changes as well as the natural environmental disasters. At the end of this course the importance of environmental education as the long term strategy in environmental management will be emphasized.
